Many-Eyed Monstrosity's Festivus Special!

First, my WiP on a War Litter/Unit Filler for my beloved brother's awesome Skaven Army. Second, one of four gnoblars I am currently working on for my Ogre Army.

Happy Festivus!

Man with Bucket on Head Running WiP

So, as you would have guessed from the title the gnoblar ended up as a human soldier running with a bucket on his head rather than a gnoblar running with a bucket on his head. Anyway, here's my work so far:

My Ogre army is coming along slowly. No new updates yet, however. I am currently working on a gnoblar regiment (with unit fillers). Stay tuned!

Nurgle Champion WIP [Update]

Here’s an update on my Nurgle Champion/Herald. I finally got the head attached to the body (it was more work than I thought). Next I will start sculpting the neck properly. Also, I finished one of his wee trotters (cute!)

Nurgle Champion

I had an idea of a Nurgle mutant that had mutated into pig form. And now I present the first steps towards a manifestation of this idea.

Test-Painted Bulls [Update]

Here’s the bulls again, this time with painted bases.

The Gnoblar (?) Genesis

All right, this is a historic moment as I have never ever built a model from a wire skeleton like this. When I started out this was supposed to be a Gnoblar running with a bucket over his head, but as it turns out the scale is all wrong (he is about human sized in Warhammer terms). Considering this I will either build him as a human or try to scale him down a bit to gnoblar size. Perhaps by giving him some oversized clothes or something to hide his long torso.

Test-painted Bulls

Here's the first two Bulls for my Ogre Kingdom army (and the first post on this blog). I got exited and painted them before I could make any photos of the conversions and the use green stuff, but I have more on the way, so there will be plenty of chances to show that.

So, what's the deal with these Ogres? The theme of the army will be something that will make my army look like a "civilized mercenary ogre army". Civilized meaning that my ogres will not be complete, well, ogres, so to speak. Hence the Old World-ish style in clothing. The reason for these two test-painted ogres was to find a decent coloring for their clothing. As you can see, the main colors will be yellow and purple However, the first one I painted (with the fluffy shirt) ended up with pink stripes on his pants and not so much purple. Even though the yellow and pink combination doesn't look bad at all, I feel that pink as one of the main colors on my ogres might invite ridicule from my gaming friends. The other ogre has the purple I will go for (perhaps a bit lighter).

Edit: The bases are not finished of course.
